The loft ladders declared in this EPD are EW 5-85, EW 5-90, EW 5-110, EW 5-120, EW 2, and EW 3. They are used as access to attic spaces and roof areas in homes or buildings. The ladders are designed to be space-saving, folding up and being stored behind a hatch mounted on the ceiling to free up floor space when not in use. They offer convenient access for storage or attic inspections, enabling efficient use of available space. The loft ladders are primarily made of pine wood and metal parts, with smaller plastic components. The ladders are insulated with 46-95 mm of insulation, resulting in U-values ranging from 0.62 to 0.924 W/m²·K. The hatch is rebate jointed with a sealing strip both on the rebate and the top of the hatch, which provides an exceptionally tight loft ladder.
