This EPD is an average for the production of five fly ash products: EmiFlyveAske, Biokulflyveaske, EmiFiller, AsfaltFiller, and BioFiller. The ashes are supplied from 5 Danish power and combined heat and power plants and differ solely in the mix of fuels used and the combustion technology.

The EPD is based on annual data from 2024 from Emineral.

Fly ash is used as an additive in the production of concrete and asphalt.
