A sliding door leaf is the main operable component of a sliding door system, moving horizontally along a track to enable smooth and space-efficient operation. The track provides the guiding mechanism for the sliding motion, ensuring stability and smooth movement of the door leaf. The coverboard conceals the track, offering a clean and aesthetic appearance. Jambs are the vertical framing elements installed at the edges of the doorway, providing structural support and a finished look to the surface-mounted sliding door system.
